many are left floundering. How much should I invest in a place to stay? How far ahead should I expect to be in one location? What aspects should you consider when going for that castle you hope to have one day? After speaking with our guest this week on the show, I realized how important it is to hunker down at times. I realized how crucial my physical position is to my family both in a source for protection, and as a source of sustainability. I am inspired to do more, to be more, to share more. But not to have more. There is a marked difference between having something and experiencing the world from the ground up. The idea of land ownership is one that sets us apart with the idea that every citizen can contribute and develop his or her family, community, and nation. The art of intentional positioning is the idea of setting yourself up for the future and hedging against all forms of physical derailment. In the literal sense this means having a castle to call home that is fortified against those once-in-a-lifetime storms that seem to be cropping up more and more frequently. Special thanks to Mr. Ed Essex for joining us and sharing his experiences with his off-grid home.
